Day 12 or 13...

"Making up for lost time" or "What do we do when we fall off the horse.... we get back on!"


That's right! There's no time to waste punishing myself for not working out these past few days. I'm going to call today day 12 and then add on 4 days at the end so total, I'll have spent 94 days in this lifestyle. By then it will be more of a way of life. I mean, it takes 22 days to start a habit and i'm almost half way to the first goal of starting to life healthy. Here's a fun quote i found on my friend Megan Slape's facebook page

One of the biggest changes I've made is how much I've been eating. Apparently the novocaine is the only thing on earth that makes me not want to eat. (I fucking LOVE to eat!) But this week I just wasn't very hungry. I ate things I was supposed to eat and in small doses. Honestly, I think that's what helped me loose weight while I wasn't able to work out. Its amazing how important food is. One of the days Joe and I were running out of time on our way to something and had to stop off at Carls Jr for a bite. I ordered their low carb chicken sandwich (wrapped in lettuce instead of bread) and it certainly made me feel a whole lot better than eating it with bread. Fresh veggies & meat. Works for me.
